Getting to Australia
STEP 1: | ||
---|---|---|
Register for APNIC 30 Gold Coast |
APNIC 30 has been registered with the Australian Department of Immigration as an official event. Please register for APNIC 30 BEFORE applying for your visa. All attendees will receive a confirmation of registration upon registration and payment. |
|
STEP 2: | ||
Apply for a visa |
APNIC 30 attendees should apply for a visa BEFORE booking flights or accommodation. It is best to wait until the visa is granted before making travel arrangements. Please refer to Visa Information for details about which visa best suits you. Some attendees will be eligible for eVisitor and Subclass 977 ETA visas, which take up to 2 weeks to process. Most attendees will need to apply for Business Short Stay visas (Subclass 456) which can take up to 8 weeks to process. APNIC is happy to assist individuals in obtaining a Subclass 456 visa. Please email your full name and economy name (as shown on your passport) to visa@apnic.net and a team member will liaise with the embassy to confirm that your travel and entry to Australia is for the purposes of APNIC 30. |
