Take some time to relax and prepare for the week ahead the Aussie way - beside a private, tropical lagoon! A local elder, representing the Kombumerri people, will open the meeting with a ‘Welcome to Country' ceremony, which gives us all a chance to pay respect to the traditional owners of the land. Following the ceremony, a performance by a local dance troupe will be accompanied by the emotive sounds of the didgeridoo.

Practice your hunting skills with a local expert who can show you how to throw a boomerang! Don't worry if you don't catch any wild game, because there will be plenty of delicious finger food to nibble on while the APNIC band serenades the crowd with their upbeat tunes.
