APNIC social event

In Perth for the first time? Too busy attending the many interesting sessions at APRICOT to explore the city? Then take the opportunity to enjoy an evening on the south shore of the Swan River at APNIC's social event.
All APNIC members and friends are invited to attend the social event at the Royal Perth Yacht Club, ten minutes drive from the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. As well as good food, the evening will highlight some uniquely Australian entertainment. Don't forget to bring your camera!
This event is free of charge; however, seats are limited to 120 people. Therefore, APNIC members are given priority when distributing tickets. Please note that selecting APNIC social event" when registering for APRICOT 2006 does not guarantee a ticket. To obtain a ticket, you must go to the APNIC Helpdesk onsite. Please accept our apologies if you are not able to obtain a ticket.
Program
| 19:00 | Assemble at the Plaza Deck of level 1, PCEC to depart by bus. APNIC staff will collect your ticket as you board the bus. |
| 19:30 | Social event begins |
| 21:30 | Social event concludes. Buses depart for Perth city centre. Most hotels are within walking distance of the drop-off location. |

APNIC 21 informal closing dinner

- Cost: AU$ 40.00 (US$ 30.00)
We appreciate how much you, the members and friends of APNIC, contribute to the success of APNIC meetings. So please delay your return to the office just a little longer and join the staff of the APNIC Secretariat at this informal dinner at the Parmelia Hilton Hotel. At the dinner, bid farewell to APNIC 21 with fine food and start planning for the next time we meet. The informal dinner is the ideal opportunity to network with APNIC staff, your peers and technical specialists in a friendly and informal atmosphere.
How to collect your ticket
To attend this event:
- Select the "APNIC informal closing dinner" option on the APRICOT 2006 registration form.
- Collect your ticket on 2 and 3 March 2006 at the APNIC Helpdesk. Please bring your registration details and receipt for validation.
Your ticket will be collected at the entrance of the venue.
Getting to the venue
The Parmelia Hilton Hotel is a five-minute walk from the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. If you want to slow down and enjoy the view on the way to the hotel, we suggest you leave a little earlier so you don't miss out on the pre-dinner drinks served at 7:30pm.
