Over the years, I have been deeply engaged with APNIC activities, especially in Indonesia. My primary focus has been enhancing the country's distribution and management of Internet resources. To achieve this, I've worked closely with APNIC, providing training to IDNIC members and ensuring it matches Indonesia's internet resources' technical and governance requirements. In collaboration with APNIC, we've also developed training materials tailored to Indonesia's needs. I'm also honored to be involved in the ISIF.ASIA IPv6 Deployment Project since 2022, an initiative to expedite IPv6 deployment in Indonesia.
Nominee statement
In the pivotal role of the National Internet Registry SIG Chair at APNIC, one does not simply oversee functions or moderate discussions. This role demands a visionary leader who can actively build bridges and spearhead transformative advancements in the Asia-Pacific National Internet Registry landscape. With deep humility, I present my nomination, supported by two decades of dedicated service to the region's IT community.
My position at IDNIC and complemented by active engagements with a diverse array of stakeholders—from ISPs and Government Agencies to Commerce and the Research and Education sectors—has provided me a firsthand account of the intricate challenges and boundless opportunities our regional internet holds. I've been more than a passive observer; I've been an instigator of change, fostering collaborations, refining processes, and deepening my connections with grassroots communities to comprehend and cater to their unique needs.
Education and training are not just aligned with my professional pursuits; they're at the core of my ethos. My collaboration with APNIC is a testament to this, as we've pioneered tailored training programs for Indonesia. This synergy bridges knowledge gaps and empowers institutions with the tools to realize their digital potential. Moreover, being honored with the ISIF.ASIA IPv6 Deployment Project award in 2022 goes beyond personal achievement—it symbolizes our collective ambition to steer our region into a progressive digital era.
I earnestly seek your endorsement, not for individual accolades, but to collaboratively carve a trajectory that ensures holistic prosperity for every community stakeholder.
