Arriving to Kyoto
There are several ways to travel to Kyoto.
From Tokyo (Narita or Haneda airports)
- From Haneda International Airport → Keikyu Airport Line’s Rapid Limited Express train to Shinagawa train station → Transfer to Shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto train station (approx. 2h40 mins)→ Subway or taxi from JR Kyoto station to your accommodation.
- From Narita International Airport → Narita Express train to Shinagawa train station → Transfer to Shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto train station (approx. 2h40 mins) → Subway or taxi from JR Kyoto station to your accommodation
From Osaka (Kansai International Airport (KIX) and Osaka International Airport (Itami/ITM))
- From Kansai International Airport (KIX) → JR (Japan Rail) Haruka Airport Express (75 mins) or Bus (85 mins) → Subway from JR Kyoto station (20 mins) or taxi.
- From Osaka International Airport (Itami/ITM) → Bus (55 mins) → Subway from JR Kyoto station (20 mins) or taxi.
