I've been working with APNIC since 1999. I chaired APNIC Policy SIG from 2002 to 2007. There were 117 proposals managed and 25 APNIC policies implemented during my chairship. I am also the elected ASO AC (NRO NC) since 2001. Three global policies were successfully implemented during my term on the ASO AC. In addition to policy management experience, I am enthusiastic about helping the advancement of internet technology. I am the co-author of IETF RFC3743 - IDN administration guideline, which is recognized as a critical guidance for ICANN IDN implementation.

It is a critical moment. We are encountering the biggest challenge from IPv4 exhaustion and IPv6 transition. Smooth transition will be an ultimate goal for the community. If I successfully elected, I will do my best to work with the community to go through the difficult time, and ensure any decision made based on the best interest of the community.

In order to avoid the potential conflict of interest due to my AC position, I will resign my position on the ASO AC if elected to the EC.
