Anybody may nominate any person as a candidate.

Who can be nominated?

One individual from the Asia Pacific region will be selected to serve on the NRO NC/ASO AC for two years from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2020.

Any individual may be nominated, with the exception of staff members of any Regional Internet Registry (RIR). Self-nominations are permitted.

I started my APNIC membership from 2017 in Bangladesh and can able to compare that APNIC need to develop in certain sector like RIPE at Europe such as IP address distribution services, billing services and organizing more training in less developed countires at APNIC region. At present most of training programe available only in Australia and need to spread it all of the member country based on membership ratio or other factor in mind.

I am a Cambodian citizen residing and working in Myanmar.

I have been working in Internet industry since 2005, in my first 10 years career, I used to be a programmer, server administrator, network engineer, and CTO at a few major ISPs in Cambodia.

Due to my marriage, I moved to Myanmar in 2015. Now I am working as a CTO at Information Beam (i-BEAM), an IT solutions and training company in Myanmar, the company focuses on supporting ISPs/ASPs/data centers to setup and operate their infrastructure in the region (Myanmar, Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines).

In my day-to-day work, I am in charge of network design, implementation, training, and operations support to customers. Furthermore, since I am an official MikroTik Certified Trainer, I usually run some MikroTik certification classes at weekends, I sometimes travel to overseas for training our partners and customers in the region as well.

- On a joint team of RPG, India & NTT Japan. Along with NTT experts, he got international exposure while visiting Tokyo, Philippines, Thailand and Hong Kong and gained valuable experience of work firsthand.

- Associated with Internet in 1999, when Government of India licensed private ISPs. Working in Estel Communications Pvt Ltd and later at Spectranet Ltd.

In summary, he has 40 years experience in Telecom and Internet Industry with strong technical and commercial knowledge. In addition, he having worked closely with Department of Telecommunications, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), DeitY has gained the valuable experience of planning and strategizing at National level to create an enabling Telecommunication Environment for the public at large.

a name of a community CCOAB (Cyber Cafe Owner's Association Of Bangladesh) 
and I am representing CCOAB from six years. This community is recognized by 
the Govt of Bangladesh Commerce and ICT Ministry. CCOAB Belongs more than 
300 Internet Service Provider members. Many of them are also your APNIC members 
also.

From my part I want to introduce APNIC to my community in details. So that they 
may interested to be a APNIC members. There is some problems the existing members
facing regarding payment to APNIC, IP availability etc. Our CCOAB Members disused
