Anybody may nominate any person as a candidate.

Who can be nominated?

One individual from the Asia Pacific region will be selected to serve on the NRO NC/ASO AC for two years from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2020.

Any individual may be nominated, with the exception of staff members of any Regional Internet Registry (RIR). Self-nominations are permitted.

I started my APNIC membership from 2017 in Bangladesh and can able to compare that APNIC need to develop in certain sector like RIPE at Europe such as IP address distribution services, billing services and organizing more training in less developed countires at APNIC region. At present most of training programe available only in Australia and need to spread it all of the member country based on membership ratio or other factor in mind.
if i have a chance to elect in this post I believe can able to do my best for this community.

My educational back ground is Economics and Law. Currently doing research in Cyber crime at Queen Marry University, UK. Now we are in internet world where everyone depends on online directly or indirectly as we can see, also crime status changing rapidly and there is no boundary at all. By cyber crime crime crossing the country's boundary and for that reason its getting more difficult to give prosecution to the criminal. All world leader need to act first to sign a common treaty where all the country in the world need to participate and helping each other to prevent the cyber crime for now and future.

If I get a chance to elect then I will be working more closely with APNIC which will be a great opportunity for raising this message in next level for protecting our online world and future community.

I am a Cambodian citizen residing and working in Myanmar.

I have been working in Internet industry since 2005, in my first 10 years career, I used to be a programmer, server administrator, network engineer, and CTO at a few major ISPs in Cambodia.

Due to my marriage, I moved to Myanmar in 2015. Now I am working as a CTO at Information Beam (i-BEAM), an IT solutions and training company in Myanmar, the company focuses on supporting ISPs/ASPs/data centers to setup and operate their infrastructure in the region (Myanmar, Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines).
