Prodip Kumer Das (This nominee withdrew his candidacy on 16 July 2017)

Biographical info

I have completed my graduation from Khulna University of Engineering & technology (KUET) in the year 2011. I started my career as an Assistant Programmer at KUET and now I am promoted as Network Engineer of ICT Cell of KUET. I am responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of secure computer network and servers. There are lots of monitoring and troubleshooting required for the campus area network. Everyday I have to complete the security checklist like Email SPAM protection, Server logs checking for hacking attempts, Database security, Bandwidth Utilizations etc. As our university is located outside the capital, the resources are limited for our university to run the operations of our campus area network as an Internet service provider for different faculties, institutes and departments.

I manage the network with only 1 Gbps routing capacity. Frequently the demand increases more than this.
