13th APNIC Open Policy Meeting

Bangkok, Thailand, 3 - 7 March 2002

APNIC thanks all the members and friends of APNIC who participated in the 13th APNIC Open Policy Meeting, held in conjunction with APRICOT 2002, from 3 to 7 March 2002, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand.

As a Platinum Sponsor of APRICOT 2002, APNIC provided one of the "tracks" within the APRICOT conference and tutorial program.

A summary of decisions from the meeting is now available.

Minutes of the AMM and SIGs are now available. Open NIR meeting minutes will be available soon.

APNIC meeting program

APNIC provided APNIC training, tutorials and conference sessions with Special Interest Group (SIG) discussions as part of the APRICOT 2002 program. The APNIC Member Meeting was held on Thursday 7 March 2002.

APNIC Annual Member Meeting

The APNIC Annual Member Meeting was held on 7 March 2002. It provided a forum for discussions and decision-making on issues specific to APNIC Membership, including the APNIC Annual Report, Executive Council report and Member Survey report, the forward plan and budget for 2002, as well as the election for vacant Executive Council positions. Reports from the SIG discussions and the Open NIR meeting were presented. Reports were also presented from the other RIRs (ARIN and RIPE NCC) and the emerging RIRs (LACNIC and AfriNIC).
