Nominee statement

Bertrand is a systems administrator at Micro Logic Systems, an ISP in New Caledonia.

Founder of the GULNC (Local Linux User Group) and the NCNog, he has been active in the internet community for more than two decades, promoting best practices, sharing experiences and pushing for IPv6 adoption.

He has attended every APNIC meetings since 2011.

He has been an active member of the Policy SIG since late 2014 and became co-Chair at APNIC 43 (Feb 2017).

Policy SIG

Bertrand is the acting Chair of the Policy SIG, developing policies which relate to the management and use of Internet number resources within the Asia Pacific region. These include policies for resource allocation, recovery and transfer, and for resource registration within whois, reverse DNS, RPKI and related services.

IANA RC

Bertrand is the elected Chair of the IANA Review Committee (ending this year), tasked with assisting the RIRs in their review of the IANA Numbering Services.
