Experience and involvement in APNIC activities

My journey started with APNIC in 2015 from APNIC40 as a fellow. After that, I started to contribute back to the community and worked with the APNIC team closely. My involvement with APNIC was voluntary. I have written multiple blogs on Women in ICT. I have participated actively in order to create a mailing list for women in ICT for the APAC region. I was in APNIC fellowship selection committee in APNIC42 and was a mentor for APNIC42 fellows and also presented a paper on FIRST TC. In APNIC45 I presented a paper on security also moderated a session in Women in ICT. I was one of the Program Committee members for APNIC49, APNIC50, APNIC51, chair for Women in ICT session at APNIC50, and moderated the lightning talk session at APNIC50. At APNIC52, I was the co-chair of the Program Committee, will be speaking on newcomers’ the session, and also will moderate the lightning talk session.

Nominee statement

I am passionate about cybersecurity and aspire to be an active contributor to the community's needs. Based on the past experience and involvement I had with APNIC, I believe I make a good candidate.

The nominee has 7+ years of work experience in Cybersecurity. She has been an active contributor to the community since 2015. She has written multiple blogs, worked as a fellowship mentor for APNIC42 and APNIC52, worked as a PC member for APNIC50 and as a PC co-chair for APNIC52, While playing multiple roles, she has demonstrated dedication and commitment towards the community which makes her the best fit for the position.
