IPv4 in 2015: Black markets, regulated transfers or totally redundant?
In around 2011, the unallocated pool of IPv4 addresses is predicted to run out. What will happen next?
If current IP address policies do not change, some fear that strong demand for IPv4 addresses will create a flourishing black market in IPv4 addresses. Others suggest changing current IP address policies to relax the rules for transfers of address space between networks. Some promote moving to IPv6 now to avoid the IPv4 number crunch.
Why participate?
Come to this seminar and listen to industry experts debate what may happen in the years after the RIRs run out of IPv4 and how the community can help prevent the worst-case scenarios from happening.
