Biography

Billy has started his career at KRNIC IP team in 2000 and spent almost 10 years working on IP policy and operational issues in Asia Pacific Region. Looking back his last years performance, I believe he produced eminent achievements; he successfully co-hosted 16th APNIC meeting in Seoul (2003), worked hard to develop good understanding of each countries situation as APNIC EC (2005-2007), and involved actively in the activity of IPv6 Forum Korea to adopt IPv6 in Korea. Furthermore, he is studying Internet Governance in Seoul National University of Technology to find work out an answer to the critical IP issues such as IPv4 depletion, IPv6 deployment and APNIC Fees.

With these critical issues, the Internet community in AP region is turning to the significant stages and I think we need someone like Billy who experienced and knows the situation in AP region.

If you give him another chance to act as a representative of AP region again, he will contribute to find a breakthrough toward Next Generation Internet in harmonious cooperation.
