APNIC is supporting and participating in two major Internet events this week in Taipei, Taiwan.

IETF 82

APNIC proudly supports IETF 82, from 13 to 18 November 2011.

APNIC is active in standards development, research and data, and local infrastructure deployments throughout the Asia Pacific region. APNIC sponsored the IETF Welcome Reception on Sunday, 13 November.

Internet community members across the region are invited to participate in IETF sessions and group chat remotely.

Global IPv6 Summit

APNIC staff are participating in the Taiwan IPv6 Summit, which is held in conjunction with the Taiwan Network Information Centre Open Policy Meeting (17th TWNIC OPM) at the Taipei World Trade Centre from 15 to 16 November.

APNIC Chief Scientist, Geoff Huston, will deliver a keynote speech, "IPv4 Exhaustion - A Progress Report", and Senior IPv6 Specialist, Miwa Fujii will moderate a panel session, "IPv6 Internet Service Providers".
