APNIC signs MoU with Taiwan Network Information Center
The Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) and the Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in June 2009 to mutually cooperate with regard to Internet-related issues.
The Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) and the Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in June 2009 to mutually cooperate with regard to Internet-related issues.
These include:
- Promoting infrastructure development and business in the region
- Promoting the importance of IPv4 address exhaustion and the deployment of IPv6
- Resource Certification
- Exchanging information, materials, and staff
- Reciprocal attendance at seminars, conferences, and training programs
Paul Wilson, Director General of APNIC, commented on the signing, saying:
"It is by working together to address these issues that we facilitate our mutual progress. APNIC is very proud to have this relationship with TWNIC and I am confident that it will be beneficial for both of us."
