APNIC participates in latest OECD Ministerial Meeting

APNIC will be participating at the OECD Ministerial Meeting on the Future of the Internet Economy in Seoul, Korea, 17-18 June 2008.
APNIC's chief scientist, Geoff Huston, will be delivering a presentation titled "The importance of the end-to-end architecture for innovation" at the "Fuelling Creativity" session of the Internet Technical Community Stakeholder Forum, to be held on Monday 16 June.
An official memorandum summarizing the shared principles of the Internet technical community has been developed, and it is endorsed by APNIC.
He will also be a speaker on Roundtable 2, "Benefiting from Convergence".
APNIC has produced a brochure that will be distributed at the OECD meeting that focuses on APNIC's role in the Internet community. The brochure is available here.
The OECD ministerial meeting is expected to be attended by around 1500 participants, including Ministers and high level officials from Communications, Economy, Industry, and Trade portfolios from 47 countries, as well as leaders from all stakeholder communities.
