I engage deeply at the intersection of research, entrepreneurship, and digital community building. Over the years, I have contributed in a technical capacity by working alongside community leaders and multiple stakeholders on initiatives aimed at strengthening India’s Internet ecosystem. These efforts include executing the Indian IETF Capacity-Building (IICB) program; contributing to the establishment of Kolkata IX — a MANRS-compliant community Internet Exchange Point model built by ISPs, for ISPs, to promote local interconnection and a more secure routing ecosystem; and assisting in the deployment of the first L-Root server instances in the country.

My involvement in initiatives such as AIORI (Advanced Internet Operations Research in India) reflects my commitment to building next-generation Internet measurement platforms and DNS research testbeds to support a more resilient and seamless Internet experience. As part of AIORI’s technical outreach efforts, I have also worked with over 250 faculty members across the country to advance Internet measurement, operational practices, and standards development. Through regional standards-focused hackathons and community programs, I continue to encourage deeper engagement with Internet protocols and participation in the IETF ecosystem.

Beyond strengthening the technical Internet ecosystem, I remain deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of Internet leaders. During my tenure as Chair of the Internet Society Kolkata Chapter, I actively supported capacity-building initiatives, academic engagement, and efforts to make Internet technologies and standards more accessible to students and professionals alike. In my professional career, I also contributed to the design and development of statewide e-governance projects, where I witnessed firsthand the transformative role technology can play in public service delivery — always with the support of dedicated teams and collaborators.

Pankaj has over 30 years of rich experience heading different roles in Technology and Business as part of his various assignments. Pankaj is actively associated with ISP community for two decades. He works closely with Licensor and Regulator in India. He is Office Bearer in Internet Service Providers Association of India for past 6 years. He was Address Supporting Organization (ASO) nominee to serve on the 2020 - 2021 Nominating Committee (NomCom) of ICANN. He is part of the Organization Committee of INNOG. He has served as Secretary of ISOC Delhi Chapter and is an active participant of APNIC, ICANN, SANOG and INNOG meetings.

Sheryl (Shane) Hermoso is Manager – Development at APNIC, leading a team dedicated to providing technical training and infrastructure development support across the Asia Pacific region. With expertise in network operations for ISPs, IXPs and enterprise, she plays a key role in capacity building strategies, supporting the technical community, mentoring future engineers, and fostering impactful learning experiences.

Shane is a regular volunteer and speaker at NOGs and conferences, advocating IPv6, RPKI, and secure Internet best practices.

Dan is the Digital Strategy and Content Lead for APNIC and manages the APNIC Blog. He's interested in real-world deployments, practical how-to guides, best current practices for network operators, Internet measurement, and all facets of capacity development.

Imtiaz Sajid is a Network Analyst and Network Trainer. Since 2004 he has worked for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and managed service providers in roles covering Network Operations, Capacity Planning, and Network Design. In these roles he has provided L3/L4 support, managed services, network design, capacity planning, testing, deployment, and equipment swap for IP networks.

Rohit Kumar is working at the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI). He is responsible for the planning, deployment, and operations of NIXI's nationwide Internet Exchange infrastructure, which spans 79 locations across India.

With experience in peering, interconnection, and network infrastructure management, he has been actively involved in optimizing IX operations, and driving initiatives aimed at improving internet resilience and reducing latency for Indian internet users.

He works closely with ISPs, content providers, data centres to strengthen India's internet ecosystem and promote local traffic exchange. His areas of interest include Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), peering and routing security.

Dhruv Dhody is an Internet standardization expert at Huawei-India with over 23 years of experience in the research and development of technologies including Path Computation Element (PCE), Segment Routing (SR), Network Slicing, and SDN. An active IETF contributor since 2010, Dhruv’s work has focused on path computation, traffic engineering, and SDN in the routing area.

Dhruv serves as Chair of the Internet Architecture Board (IAB) and co-chairs the IETF SRv6OPS and PCE WGs. They are also active in the Routing Directorate, YANG Doctors, and Operations Directorate, and have previously served as IAB Outreach Coordinator, on the IETF list moderator team, and as an IAB liaison to the IESG.

In addition to their technical work, Dhruv is committed to increasing participation in the IETF from the Asia/Pacific region and other underrepresented groups, with the goal of strengthening diversity and inclusion in the Internet standards community.

Katsuyasu Toyama is the Executive Advisor of JPNAP, a large internet exchange in Japan operated by INTERNET MULTIFEED CO., after 10 years' management of the company as the Representative Director and COO.

He is also the co-founder of APIX, the association of IXPs in the APAC region established in 2010, and the co-founder and Steering Committee member of Peering Asia, an open peering forum in APAC, since it was established in 2017.

Joyeeta Sen Rimpee is a Deputy General Manager at Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL), where she leads broadband infrastructure, DNS operations and cybersecurity governance for Bangladesh's national telecom operator. With decades of experience bridging technical operations and Internet policy, she has been recognised as an APNIC Professional Fellow (2025), APTLD Fellow (2024) and ICANN Fellow (2026), contributing to DNS security and Internet governance capacity building across the Asia-Pacific region. She is passionate about digital inclusion and advancing Internet access for developing countries and LDCs.

I am an IT and cybersecurity professional from Nepal with experience in network infrastructure, systems administration and secure technology operations within public-sector environments. My work focuses on designing, implementing and managing resilient enterprise networks, datacenter systems, firewalls, VPN connectivity, Linux/Windows servers and cybersecurity controls that support critical national services.

Over the years, I have also been actively involved in modern IT practices including automation, DevSecOps, service delivery improvement and incident response. I hold several international certifications in networking and cybersecurity and I continue to pursue professional development in areas such as digital governance, secure architecture and emerging technologies.

Beyond my professional role, I have a strong interest in Internet development, regional collaboration and community-driven technical capacity building. I regularly participate in technical forums, workshops and conferences that promote knowledge sharing and operational excellence across the Asia Pacific region. I attended SANOG41 in Mumbai, India, where I engaged with peers on networking operations and infrastructure topics. I also participated in APRICOT 2026 / APNIC 61 in Indonesia, which provided valuable opportunities to exchange ideas with regional operators, engineers and policy stakeholders.

I am particularly interested in topics related to network resilience, cybersecurity readiness, Internet governance, routing security and capacity building for developing communities. I believe that collaboration between technical communities, governments, academia and industry is essential for building a safer and more inclusive Internet.

As a member of the APNIC 62 Program Committee, I look forward to supporting a strong technical program and encouraging meaningful discussions that benefit the regional Internet community.

Senior Network Security Engineer with over 12 years of experience, balancing technical expertise with a passion for open-source development. I am the creator of tacacs-ng-ui, a modern web interface for TACACS+ management, and founder of Network Thực Chiến, a YouTube community for engineers in Vietnam. I thrive on building scalable solutions and collaborating within global technical communities.

Dr. Saima Nisar is a Lecturer at Xiamen University Malaysia and an active member of the Asia Pacific Internet community. She has served as a Program Committee member for APNIC 58 and MYNOG 13, and has participated in APNIC meetings, policy discussions, and regional Internet governance activities. Her involvement focuses on supporting inclusive community participation, policy engagement, and regional collaboration within the Asia Pacific Internet community.

M M Zaheer Hussain has over 14 years of experience in the IT industry, specializing in networking and cybersecurity with a strong focus on open-source Linux platforms. His expertise covers enterprise network architecture, systems administration, and secure infrastructure design.

He currently serves at The Open University of Sri Lanka, one of the country’s leading state universities and the only institution operating a fully centralized enterprise network environment. In addition to his professional role, Zaheer has been actively involved in the NOG community for over 7 years through LKNOG, serving as a trainer and presenter at both local and international conferences.

He has also contributed to regional internet development initiatives, serving for four consecutive years on the Programme Committee and Fellowship Committee for SANOG (SANOG 40–44) and supporting APRICOT 2025, reflecting his ongoing commitment to community building and knowledge sharing in the networking field.

Lancheng Qin is currently an Assistant Researcher at Beijing Zhongguancun Laboratory. His research interests include routing security, source address validation, and network measurement. He has been participating in IETF since 2020 and currently serves as the Secretary of the IETF GROW Working Group. His research has been published in venues including NDSS, USENIX Security, and INFOCOM. He is also an author of multiple IETF WG documents.

I am a Senior Network and Systems engineer at NASFUND LTD. I have been in the IT industry for 12 years and worked in end user support to overseeing the deploying, maintenance and monitoring of the company’s network and infrastructure. In 2022, I was privileged to be selected as an APNIC 54 Fellow and now grateful for this opportunity to be a part of the APNIC 62 program committee member.

Terry has 30+ years of ITEE/Telco experience in diverse roles at all levels, from help desk to CxO level. I was at QUT working as a tech in 1989 when AARNet was turned on.
