Visa
Check if you need a visa
Please refer to the Viet Nam visa exemption list to check if you are exempted from applying for a visa to enter Viet Nam. For registrants from Bangladesh, please see important visa information below.
If you are exempt, please proceed to immigration when you arrive at Da Nang International Airport.
Please bring your conference invitation letter with you.
If you are not exempt
If you are not exempt, you should apply for an e-visa. To apply, please click this link, fill out the form, provide the information required, and pay the visa fee. Under question 6 of the form, you should choose “Business” as your purpose of entry.
The visa process normally takes three to four days. However, we advise you to apply early as the visa office does not open on public holidays in Viet Nam.
Important visa information for Bangladeshi registrants
All participants registered as an in-person attendee from Bangladesh will require a visa to attend APNIC 60.
To support your visa application, you will need a special letter issued by the Vietnamese government. VNNIC, the host of the conference, will help obtain this letter.
To facilitate this process, APNIC requires the following information from Bangladeshi in-person registrants, which will be sent to VNNIC:
- A scanned copy of your passport biographic page (name, passport number, nationality, date and place of birth, and other personal details)
- The completed visa support request form – please download the form here
Please send this information to: conference@apnic.net
Note, APNIC will delete all passport information upon receipt of this letter.
Important: Register early
The letter of support will take at least 15 working days to process. Once you receive this letter, you will need to submit it to the Vietnamese embassy in Bangladesh to apply for your visa.
VNNIC will submit the visa support request forms and scanned passport information to the Vietnamese government in two tranches on the following dates:
- 1 July 2025
- 1 August 2025
These dates are final — if you do not provide the required information by the final deadline of 1 August 2025, you will not be able to obtain a visa for APNIC 60. Please ensure you submit your documents to conference@apnic.net on time to avoid any issues.
Please note: APNIC and VNNIC are facilitating the visa process and cannot guarantee that a visa will be granted.
