You can chat with conference delegates, APNIC staff, speakers and sponsors in the APNIC 52 conference chat.
This is different from the Zoom chat during the sessions and you can access it from anywhere on the APNIC 52 website.
How do I join the chat?
You will need to allow pop-ups for the APNIC 52 site.
Once you are registered and logged in, click on the round chat icon in the bottom right of the APNIC 52 site.
You will be able to start chatting with other participants in the main groups or individually. Online participants will have a green dot next to their name.
- You will be able to send and reply to messages.
- You will be able to join a group.
- You will be able to block a user if you do not want to chat to them.
If you have been included in a group and you wish to leave the group, you can request to leave the group by selecting the ‘i’ next to the group name and select ‘Leave Group’.
The ‘Information desk’ provides up-to-date information and news related to the conference.
The ‘Conference chat’ group allows you to mingle with all delegates.
Please note the code of conduct applies when using the APNIC 52 chat.
The chat will be open during the conference hours and will close at the end of each conference day from 13 to 16 September 2021.
If you have any questions about the conference chat, APNIC staff are available in the chat or you can email email@example.com
