Joy is the Deputy CEO at TWNIC, the work is very close related to the goal and mission that aligned with APNIC. For the recent focus on IPv6, the cyber security and a few other directions on Internet governance, Joy has deep involvement and worked with cross economies to support and promote the activities.
Nominee statement
Joy had a wonderful time serving this community as the current Chair for Cooperation SIG, among the talented partners from all economies, we had worked together to explore many important topics that covers diversify and interesting arenas.
I am now looking for your support in this election to vote for me and we can continue working together to further our journey in this very special Cooperation SIG.
Looking back, we had great discussion in each conference: With the initial focus on Internet Jurisdiction, and then we looked the effort in developing Cyber Norms that support incident response and cross-jurisdictional conflicts; We’ve also reviewed the legal and authorized interception of telecommunications and law enforcement and ISP interact. As the pandemic hits the world, we certainly turn on our reflection and talked about Role of Network Operators during the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the fast pace on Internet development and as the world turns so quickly, the topics we can deep dive in the Cooperation SIG will be even more exciting, we need leadership to guide and hold the community together, making meaningful and mature, insightful point of view for our SIG.
After all, we are all a part of this SIG, I am inviting you from all the economies to join with me, making OUR cooperation a very special, a very unique SIG that we are all proud of!
