Registration for APNIC 36 opens in early June!

Attend the APNIC 36 Workshops and Conference, and be directly involved with Internet growth and development in the Asia Pacific region.

  • Learn first-hand about the latest developments in Internet networking trends from the shared insights and practical experiences of regional and international experts
  • Directly contribute to discussions on Internet resource distribution and management policies
  • Participate in hands-on training sessions and intensive workshops to expand your knowledge and skills for key deployments such as IPv6

Confirmed topics for the Workshop week, 20 to 24 August 2013

These are technical workshops, with a mixture of lecture and hands-on labs. Participants need to have hands-on experience at configuring network equipment such as routers and switches.

BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)
Participants will learn the OSPF/ISIS and BGP skills required to configure and operate a large-scale network. This course will benefit technical staff who are now building or operating a wide area service provider network with international and/or multi-provider connectivity, or those considering participation at an Internet Exchange Point.

Network Security and DNSSEC
This workshop covers the key elements of network infrastructure security and DNSSEC. It will benefit network engineers who are responsible for engineering and architecting reliable networks, as well as network operators who are responsible for mitigating attacks or managing DNS infrastructure. This course will benefit staff from ISP, enterprise, or government organizations who are responsible for engineering and operating a secure IPv4/IPv6 network infrastructure.

IPv6
Participants will learn the IPv6 skills required to deploy IPv6 on their network infrastructure. The course will benefit technical staff working for ISP, enterprise, academic or government networks, and those who are now building or operating a wide area network with international and/or multi-provider connectivity.
